My Journey: From Curiosity to AI Research & Full Stack Engineering

The Spark: 2023 and HTML

In 2023, my journey began with a simple curiosity: How do websites actually work? I wrote my first lines of HTML, and seeing plain text transform into a structured webpage in my browser was nothing short of magical. That small spark ignited a relentless drive to understand the web. I quickly moved on to CSS and JavaScript, realizing that the internet was a blank canvas waiting for logic and design.

Frameworks and Full-Stack Applications

As my understanding deepened, vanilla JavaScript wasn't enough to build the complex ideas I had in my head. I dove into modern frameworks, mastering React and eventually Next.js. I learned how to build scalable, component-driven user interfaces. But the front-end was only half the picture. I expanded into the back-end with Node.js, Python, and databases, becoming a Full-Stack Engineer. Building end-to-end applications taught me system architecture, API design, and the importance of performance.

The Shift: AI, ML, and Datasets

While web development gave me the tools to build, I wanted my applications to think. I pivoted my focus toward Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I started researching neural networks, natural language processing, and deep learning. One of the biggest challenges I faced was the lack of quality data, so I began creating and curating my own datasets to train specialized models. This hands-on research transitioned me from a developer to an AI Research Engineer.

Integrating Creativity and Philosophy in AI

My interest in AI isn't just technical it's deeply philosophical. I believe that as we build machines that mimic human thought, we must integrate creativity and philosophy into their core. I study how human psychology and philosophical principles can be translated into AI behavior, ensuring that the systems we build are not only intelligent but also ethical, empathetic, and aligned with human values. This interdisciplinary approach combining code, creativity, and philosophy is what drives my work today.
